Make sure the peanut butter is 100% xylitol-free — xylitol is highly toxic to dogs. Avoid adding chocolate, onion, garlic, or salt/sugar, which are all unsafe for dogs. If your dog has allergies or health conditions, check with your vet before introducing a new treat.
