These vibrant, durable transfers can be easily applied to t-shirts, bags, and a wide variety of other fabric items, allowing for customized and personalized designs. Learn more about DTF Transfers.

Application Instructions for “Meowdy Partner” Iron-On

Prep the Garment
- Choose a clean, wrinkle-free garment and place it on a flat surface.
- Remove lint with a lint roller for a smooth transfer.
Preheat Heat Press
- Set to 275–300°F (135–150°C), depending on garment and transfer type.
- Use medium to firm pressure.
Pre-Press Garment
- Place garment on heat press and press for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Position Transfer
- Lay DTF transfer film face down (design touching fabric) on desired area.
- Secure with heat-resistant tape if needed to prevent shifting.
Apply Heat
- Close heat press and apply heat for 10–15 seconds with consistent pressure.
Peel Film
- Let garment cool for 5–10 seconds.
- Peel film cold (fully cooled) or warm (slightly warm, not hot), per transfer instructions.
Re-Press
- Cover design with parchment paper or silicone sheet.
- Press for 5–10 seconds to lock in durability.
Inspect & Enjoy
- Check for any issues. Your “Meowdy Partner” design is ready to shine!

Care Instructions

Wash inside out in cold water.
Tumble dry on low heat.

Sublimation

Sublimation Heat-Transfer Application Instructions

(for the “Easily Distracted by Hockey and Cats” design and all our sublimation prints)

You’ll need:

Heat press (recommended) or home iron (no steam).
Sublimation blank (100% polyester T-shirt, hoodie, tote, etc. – light colors work best; white is ideal).
Parchment paper or butcher paper.
Lint roller.
Heat-resistant tape (optional).
Blow-out sheet (parchment or plain copy paper).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Pre-press the garment.
Press the blank shirt for 5–10 seconds at 385°F (196°C) to remove moisture and wrinkles. Let cool slightly.
Trim excess paper if desired, leaving about ¼” border.

Position the transfer

Place the shirt on the press.
Lint-roll the area to remove any pet hair or dust (very important!).
Center the printed design face-down on the fabric.
Optional: lightly tape corners with heat-resistant tape so it doesn’t shift.

Protect everything

Place a sheet of parchment/butcher paper inside the shirt (prevents bleed-through to the back).
Cover the design with another sheet of parchment or blow-out paper on top.

Press it!

Recommended settings (adjust slightly for your press):
Temperature: 385°F (196°C).
Time: 50–60 seconds.
Pressure: Medium-firm (the shirt should feel “squished” but not crushed).

Peel & admire

Peel the paper HOT immediately after pressing for the brightest colors (use heat-resistant gloves or tweezers) – some people prefer a warm or cold peel; hot peel gives the most vibrant result with our designs).
Let the shirt cool completely on a flat surface.

Final press (optional but recommended)

Cover with parchment and press again for 10–15 seconds to set the ink and remove any press marks.

Washing instructions to keep it forever

Wait 24 hours before first wash.
Turn garment inside-out.
Cold or warm wash, gentle cycle.
No bleach, no fabric softener.
Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Now go rock your new favorite shirt while simultaneously watching the game and being supervised by a judgmental cat. You’ve earned it. 🏒😼
